How does the compost pickup service work?

You sign up for a plan that fits your needs.
We set you up with a bucket and a roll of compostable bag liners for collecting food scraps.
On your scheduled pickup day, set the bucket at the end of your driveway, and we’ll take the organic material.
Your food scraps are turned into rich compost instead of ending up in your trash, stinking up the bin.

What can I put in my compost bucket?

You can compost:

✅ Coffee grounds & filters
✅ Eggshells
✅ Bread, pasta & grains
✅ Nutshells and any Seeds
✅ Yard waste (in the fall it's great to top your bucket off with leaves if you have extra space to fill)

What happens to my food waste?

Your scraps are processed in an aerated composting system to create nutrient-rich compost that helps gardens, farms, and green spaces thrive. Plus, as a subscriber, you’ll get compost every year—delivered to you!

Do I have to be home for pickup?

Nope! Just leave your bucket in the designated spot on your pickup day, and we’ll handle the rest.

What if I go on vacation?

No problem! Just let us know in advance, and we’ll skip your house until you return.

What if my bucket gets dirty or damaged?

The compostable bag liners help to keep things from sticking to the inside of the buckets, a quick wash each week will keep things fresh. If your bucket gets damaged or lost, replacement buckets can be provided for a small fee.

How does the drop-off service work?

With the drop-off plan, you can bring your food scraps to our compost site as often as you like for just $19 a month. Perfect for those who want to compost but don’t need pickup! There's a designated drop-off bin that's labeled for subscribers to drop off organic material (food scraps). You keep the bucket to fill it back up again.

How do I sign up?
